  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

In 1999 the company I worked at was taken over by TRW. TRW had just bought Lucas, this was the death knell for TRW as the money they paid for Lucas cleaned out TRWs cash, so TRW sold most of Lucas to anyone who would buy it and the asset strippers then sold off some of the most profitable bits of Birminghams manufacturing industry. I only know this as my company was re-located to the old Lucas head office in Shirley.
