  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Lost the sound volume icon

A quick way in Windows 8.1 is a 'right click' on the 'time' down the bottom right corner and then left click 'properties' which brings up 'Notification Area Icons' and then a left click on 'customise notification icons' then a click on appropriate items in the control panel screen which appears. There is also an option to 'restore default icons behaviour' but I've never had a need to try that. Afterwards lock the taskbar.
If this does not do it then your problem is more complicated.
