Lea Hall Bus Garage Sold

I visited Lea Hall when I was over last October and took detailed photos of it from all angles, so glad I did now. Sad to see this once fine garage, the last built by Birmingham City Transport, take on such a derelict appearance. There are now so few of the old city garages in use for what they were intended, i'm hoping the new owners of Lea Hall use the existing structure of the building and don't demolish it, terrible shame to loose another historic transport building....

In 2010 when NXWM held an auction of their buses I managed to get inside and take a few photos I am very thank full that I did

And now a very short history Lea Hall garage was set out in reverse of Quinton Bus Garage, and that Barford St bus Garage may go the way of other B.C.T. garage and be demolished to make way for the Birmingham Fruit Market sometime in the future

Hi guys
Just a quick one here does anybody know whether or not the old college road just off spring hill bus garage still there
Or is it long gone it was just down from the college pub we used to play on those buses in the garage and press the bells on the buses in the garage and the
Garage inspectors would run out of the office and chase us when we was kids best wishes astonian
