  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I worked in the Greyhound, Court Lane in 1972. Some of the women customers would ask for a pint and have an empty half pint glass too.
 
Fab photo.. bottle on table looks like Gold Label Barley Wine.. very strong drink... haven't seen it for years.

hi annie ive mentioned on another thread the power of barley wine..crikey it packed a punch :eek: still think its available

Never very keen on gold label. Stingo and Russian imperial stout were better tasting to my mind
