  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

This photo was taken at Diamond Lil's saloon at Blackpools pleasure beach about 1963. Michael and his mates went to Blackpool with a primus stove, frying pan, bacon sausage and beans. This was all cooked on the prom. Drove from Blackpool on Monday morning strait to work. These Brummy lads knew how to party.

The photo was taken for that purpose I think. We are still in touch with at least three one is in Australia (Tony Gillard) one in South Africa(Colin Lewis known as Lou) and Harry in Scotland he's the one Jean will remember who had parties in his sellar in Aston. It was brilliant two years ago they all got together for two of the group's 60th. They travelled over I will sort out the now photo tomorrow.
