  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

sue i wouldnt have minded winning that bird.. im glad oliver got it...hes now has a bit of pocket money:):)

That's great Froth and Templer it was a lovely meet and well done for organising and paying for all that lovely food for a very well desreved charity. Great publicity for the forum!
 
The meet was great, the first one I had been to - to any new members who may feel a bit nervous about coming to one for the first time, all I can say is you won't meet a more welcomong and friendly group of people - and mom and dad thoruoghly enjoy coming along to hear the brummie accents.
Well done Froth and Templar for this one though, good cause being supported - including the bird!!!!

just been told that there is a small piece in the mail today saying that the john taylor hospice have received a donation of £110 from birmingham history forum... its on page 7 for anyone with a copy of the paper:thumbsup:
