  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I want to write ‘WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?’

I want to write love letters to the bank
I want to write ‘SCRAP’ on a Challenger tank
I want to write ‘FIRST’ on Button's car
I want to write ‘BURST’ on Jordan’s bra
I want to write ‘EMPTY’ on George W's head

and leave it for my children
my life writ large in poetry and song
My victories and triumphs
the things that I did right
but how do I explain the things that I did wrong?

I want to write of a Dora Gray
Who delves in the Satanic,
The effects of time kept at bay
Through a picture in her attic.
As it ages day by day
Her looks remain the same.
(Should I change the gender and the name
To something more exotic?)

I want to write the erotic tale,
Of a Lady, very well bred,
Who falls in love with a gamekeeper
And takes him to her bed
With every detail so explicit
I’d enjoy researching it.
Trouble is, someone said,
It’s all been done before.

I want to write some revelations
A ‘fly on the wall’ objective view.
A novel filled with allegations
Some real and some untrue.
I’d change the names of the innocents.
In this sordid tale of drugs and sex.
Based on the female Jet-Set’s lives,
I think I’d call it Brummie Wives.

I want to write any old tat
That gets me on T.V.
I want to sit there like prat
While Melvin interviews me
Then, when I felt the time was right,
I’d set his stupid hair alight
And as he squealed and jumped about,
I’d slap his head to put it out.

I want to write how ‘Great you art’ at stringing words together
That includes all you Gals and Boys whether in Chain-mail, Satin or Leather
I want to write how you inspire me to add some prose of mine
Not quite up to some of yours how I wish I could write of romance and love divine
I manage a little humour but to write like some of you oh how I pine
So go to it folks with your stories, prose and rhyme
And who knows at some much later date I may also improve with time.

And as you can see it's no lie :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's quite simple on this webring here..
I couldn't even begin to write stories like Paul, funny odes like Jerry, or Haiku's like Sue..or John Y'S made up language..So I dont..
I concentrate on what I'm best at..writing drivel..
We're a group of people with different talents..I can honestly say I've read things here off everyone here that have either amused me or moved me..
But you know who we owe this all to?
Rod, Keith and John...without them..we'd be nothing..thanks guys..
(I'd have mentioned Sue again but she's had her bit of glory with the Haikus)
Chris, Diana, Grace, Kate..EVERYONE..you help make my day..

High Paul you and kandor should get together and write a book of Drivel
remember its not what you write its the way that you write It yes thats what gets results ,words of feeling that pulls at the heart strings stirring up the emotions of dreams of love in the subconsious mind making their skin tingle with ecstasy as those spoken words are whispered in their ears
" I Love You Darling " Agh paul drivel you may say? but it actually works
may I say its good to talk with you and Kandor and of course not forgeting those Lovely Ladies it makes me feel Happy
