Hotmail accounts

For those that don't know, it looks as if Hotmail is shortly changing its image and will become known as Outlook. If you go to www.outlook.com and sign in using your usual hotmail account/password you will probably see all your emails already in outlook.

Apart from Gmail, Hotmail is the biggest spreader of malware that we get in applications for registration on this site.

In fact it may be worth knowing that many companies, organizations, government departments and councils never look at hotmail or gmail mail, they just put it straight in their junk bin.

A friend of mine sent a "hotmail" email to a company recently accepting a job and the manager said he never got it. The IT people eventually found it in amongst the "junk" mail.

So if you are going to send any sort of "official" email it may be better not to use gmail or hotmail.
