  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

My Father in Law used to arrange dances in the 1940s Sutton this is a picture taken around then, my Father in law Len Benton & sister in law Pearl Benton. Later to become Mrs James Moore after having lost her first husband Goff on the landings in Italy.

Not a clue CrisM, all dead now, like most thing you wished you had asked before it was to late.
That is why I posted this one to see if I could find any one who new any one or the date and were?
I know my father in law LEONARD BENTON ran dances in Sutton & was a member of the SUTTON BRITISH LEGION But other than that, no history!!!
HOPE SOME ONE OUT THERE WILL REMEMBER.
