Holly Hall, Woodside and St Augustine's Church, Dudley

Hey All,

I have recently been commissioned to right a guide book for St Augustine's Church, Holly Hall Dudley. This is the first project of this type I have ever been involved in. My Masters degree is in a politics and military history field, not social history. I must admit I am a bit daunted, and thought that I would start by asking here if anyone has anything on the Holly Hall area of Dudley, or Woodside, or any information on St Augustine's Church. There is very little on the internet. I have yet to check the archives and church records but I was wondering if any of the members here may have any advice on where I can get information, photographs, maps that kinda thing from so I can make a start on my research.

Thanks

James
If you go to https://blackcountryhistory.org/ an dsearch for the church you get a lot of references all mixed up, including on of a picture of the church in 1928 from a souvenir program. According to https://freepages.genealogy.rootswe...isters/worcs/dudley/st_augustine_baptisms.htm a lot of shakespears were baptised there. You can get maps of the area at https://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html , but will have to search for dudley and move map around to get the Holly hall. yiou can then see maps from c1883 to the present day. Below is the area c1883 before the church was built (you can take the exact dates with a pinch of salt)
