  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Holidays : Holidays at home and days out

Another of the Riverside Cafe during floods. Actually stayed on the houseboat on the right of the picture in the 1950s.

We spent many a week or weekend at Stourport on Severn in my Aunty Pat's Caravan. Absolutely loved it, this was the first holiday I can remember. Toilets were separate to the caravan's in those days there was a line of small wooden huts, with one toilet in each. I was about 6 years old and although scared used to love the magic of the red stone caves, and spent a lot of my time there.
