Highgate Tram Shed to have a new use

Horsencart: Is that the old Highgate Road No. 8 bus depot?

If so, I did a couple of 'gigs' there, playing for the BCT staff dance. I seem to remember that we went in via the front entrance, and climbed some stairs on the left hand side, to where we played. I'm talking circa 1950, 65 years ago, so my mind is a little vague.

This is a view from the Front side just in view too the left is a set of stairs a point of interest is that the tram tracks are still in position https://www.flickr.com/photos/dofartshavelumps/8344548629/in/album-72157632427995441/

I see that Highgate Tram Shed to have a new use this is what it looks like now https://www.flickr.com/photos/dofar...wHA-dHtwCf-dHo7B2-dHtwN9-dHtwSW-dHo86i-dHo81D

you will note that there is no roof on it (this is to save on the rates) this is the plan for the future https://www.birminghampost.co.uk/bu...arkbrook-tram-depot-reborn-conference-9424342

How recent are the "as now" photos. Last time I saw the restaurant next door (last Wednesday) it still had scaffolding and I thought the sign was in a worse state than that.
Some of the plans that seem to be current as per the article seem ill thought out. Why would someone want to build a "banqueting hall and conference centre" next to an underused banqueting hall and conference centre?

I took the photo in 2011, this means that for 4 year or more the former Tram and Bus Garage has not had a roof on it
