Hi I am trying to trace my roots and have discovered we originate from the dudley area - where would people likely to have been buried if they lived in the dudley area?

I am researching my family name SPITTLE so if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Michelle

 Welcome chele you will find this is a great site full of info' and friendly folk who will try very hard to help you.

I also have Spittle's in my family tree, as yet I only have a Birmingham connections dating back to 1777 and the marriage of BENJAMIN SPITTLE & ESTHER WOOD 21 JUL 1777 at Saint Martin, Birmingham.
However there is a Wednesbury 'Spittle family tree' here : https://home.earthlink.net/~gilesbl/families/spittle/spittle.html

Hope this helps you.
