Help Needed: Coats of Arms for places in Brum

Andy Underscore

Recently as a hobby I've been creating hypothetical flags for towns in the Black Country based (where possible) on the symbols and colours of the coats of Arms of the former (seperate) councils:

I would like to have a go at creating flags for places in Birmingham, but it's much harder to find relevant coats of arms to base them on (mainly as the councils didn't last long as they became part of Birmingham quite early on).

I've tracked down these for Sutton Coldfield and Aston Manor, but does anyone have a link to coats of Arms for other places?

Sometimes these may have survived in the crests of sports teams - does anyone know if the crests of Moseley Rugby Team and Harborne Rugby Team are based on the original town coats of Arms?

Thanks,

I could be wrong but I think the Moseley Rugby club crest changed when they became Birmingham Moseley but I could be wrong. I am sure it used to be a double headed eagle.
