Haunch Lane/Chamberlain Rd, Kings Heath

There is a large house on the corner of these roads that is now used as a nursery. In the wall around the garden to the front of the house are stones that say 'St Marys'. Can anyone tell me the history of this house? I live quite near to it and just wondered when it was built and why it has 'St Marys' in the wall.

Thanks

I remember as a child that the house was linked with the building next door and I think it was a nunnery

Thanks,

I've had a look at old maps there are buildings shown but they are not named. If I had a name I could look it up on a census, maybe someone can look it up on the electoral role?
