  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Handsworth Cemetery Flooded Again

Just came across this article. I hope something can be done to stop this happening again.

oh this is sad news...i really do hope something can be done to stop this happening again...i have only been to handsworth once and that was in the late 60s ..i went with my best friend to put flowers on the grave of her 7 year old cousin who had drowned in the sea in wales on a family holiday in 67...so sad

Remember a walk through the Cemetery in December 2005, the Mortuary Chapel is impressive...

This must be so distressing for relatives, such a shame. Did this area of the cemetery flood before? I think at Key Hill it was a tree that had broken an underground pipe which caused the flooding.
