Reg's parents Ellen Hammond nee Edwards
William Henry Hammond
William was killed at the Battle of the Somme in 1916 when Reg was 18 months old (Private 8129 11th Battalion Royal Warwicks)
Williams mother was Caroline who lived at 3 Gladstone Place, Asylum Road.
Prior to the army, William was a rubber worker.
