  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Thank you Maurice had a lovely time at the meet here is a photo my friend sent me of the Japanese surrender.
 
Certainly a historic photograph, Wendy. No doubt a number were taken by official photographers, but the more personal ones will be unique.

Glad you had a great time, but that was a foregone conclusion!

Wendy, May I suggest that copies of the photos might go to your nearest branch of the Royal Naval Association. They would be very grateful for them.
