Whilst researching family members who were school teachers found them on the 1901 census.

Head - Mary Richmond School Mistress (Elementary School) Age 33
Sister - Mabel Richmond Dressmaker Age 26
Sister - Henrietta Richmond School Teacher (Elementary School) Age 25
Sister - Laura Louise Richmond School Teacher (Elementary School) Age 22
Brother - Charles Wakefield Richmond Draughtsman Age 20
Brother - Frank George Richmond Sorting Clerk Telephonist Age 18
Brother - Theodore Paul Richmond Apprentice Die Sinking Age 15
I come across Grove Junior School, Grove Lane which is still open as Grove Primary. They have a history page and celebrated their 100 year anniversary in 2003. Grove Junior school is listed as a Board school on Wiki but not much more than a listing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Birmingham_board_schools

As the Richmond sisters were living together at 14 The Grove in 1901, I was hoping for more information about the opening of the school in 1903, maybe they were not teachers at that particular school. King Edward VI Handsworth School predates Grove Junior School just up the road!
