Whilst researching family members who were school teachers found them on the 1901 census.

I come across Grove Junior School, Grove Lane which is still open as Grove Primary. They have a history page and celebrated their 100 year anniversary in 2003. Grove Junior school is listed as a Board school on Wiki but not much more than a listing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Birmingham_board_schools

The building is listed but again no dates. https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1075556

As the Richmond sisters were living together at 14 The Grove in 1901, I was hoping for more information about the opening of the school in 1903, maybe they were not teachers at that particular school. King Edward VI Handsworth School predates Grove Junior School just up the road!

http://web.grove.bham.sch.uk/the-history-of-our-school with some tiny old photos on the page. I will contact them but it doesn't look like they have a lot of information about the history.

If anyone knows more please share…
