Great Charles Street Queensway car stunt

Some people drive like that all the time, BB :)

I left Brum in 1961 and the first time I drove back was about 1990 on a business trip to Aston Uni. Of course, all the road system had totally changed but I knew where I wanted to get to and could see it, but couldn't get at it. In desperation I had to drive a short distance the wrong way down a one way street in what used to be the Jennens Row area and got honked by a bus in the process, but got there that way! I still think the new Brum is an awful city to drive in compared with what it was in the 1950s. Built by good civil engineers, but designed by toddlers. But when the Public Works Dept was in the Civic Centre back then we used to say "Does anyone in that department even know how to ride a bike let alone drive a car?".

Maurice
