Gordon Hall Boys Home.

Can anyone tell me anything about the above Boys Home at 20 High Street, Deritend ? I do believe there are some records held in Birmingham Central Library if I can manage to get there sometime in the future.

I'm afraid it was on the south side of High St, and all that side has been destroyed. I reckon it would be very close to the present bus stop by the large sign that says Bull Ring trading Estate. It looks very depressing on google earth, one enormous plain warehouse

mikejee. Thank you for putting me in the picture about it.

Alf. Only just found out about the home ( from the 1901 and 1911 Census request ) so I then thought I needed to start new thread about the boys home.

Anyone any idea's as to what type of home it was ??
