  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

The fledgling new and revitalised Friends of Cannon Hill Park group will hold their second meeting on Wednesday 28th February 6.30pm at The MAC. With the recent announcement of Historic England funding towards restoration of The Golden Lion inside the park but also the looming cuts to council services and staff, community involvement is all the more important to make sure we shape and maintain our open spaces and parks for the future.

thanks jan...we have lost many fine building over the years but to lose this one would be catastrophic...all we can hope for is that the recent push to save the golden lion has not come too late..keeping everything crossed...thanks for the photos viv for me its really not a case of if its saved it must be saved
