Isn't it amazing to think that a 100 year-old treasure was hiding behind this.
It really is ! The billboard has given it protection from the elements over the years - I haven't found many ghost signs, but I think this has to be a favourite find.Isn't it amazing to think that a 100 year-old treasure was hiding behind this.

Thanks Viv, I had a look for a ghost sign thread to see if I could put it straight in there myself. But still learning how to maneuvre around the site, so any help appreciated! thank you !Many thanks Andy. A great example ! Love the 3D lettering of Ladies & Gents. Must have been covered over in the past. It’s nice and crisp still. Shall move your post to the Ghost Signs thread.
Viv.
Edit. Post #1228 now moved to this thread.
Nice find Janice, the prominent letters are Williams Bros. Electrical (in 1966/67) but looks as though there are a few prior to that. This is on the wall of 97 Grange Road Small Heath (B10 area). Found while taking a "now" shot from photo posted by SteveBhx
