Did anyone out there ever have a portrait done at Jerome's
i think it was in colmore row opposite snow hill station?
i,ve got one of me in a sailor suite i did look the part.
i,m sure i was,nt the only one who had to stand still and watch the birdie way back when??

I personally had two photos taken at Jerome's Studio. This would have been in the late l950's. I am almost certain the studio was in Martineau Street.

Yes Jeromes was in Martineau street, just up from the 33 bus stop on the left l bet all of us of a certain age had a picture taken there....Brenda:)
 
I had one taken i am sure it was at Jeromes and it was put in the window which i found very embarrassing, but i was also secretly delighted. This was in the Great Western Arcade by Rackams........:)Cat

same background,but who cares they,re great,the one of me
in my sailor outfit is in a frame,i know it,s in my loft i.ll
dig it out and i think i,ll have to take a photo of it because

seems like another fine mess
i,ve got myself into Stanley.
i have just been into the loft and got the
picture i had taken at jerome,s(not)
i have taken the picture frame apart,it,s one of those
thats got mirror screws nice job as it goes,
hope it goes back together,as it,s fifty years old at least.
but i need to apologise to people who sent in there
photos mine is,nt taken at jerome,s at all :redface: so i made mistake,
i,ve took a picture of the back and front ,if anyone has heard
of the studio,it,s in b,ham but i just can,t make out the
name any taker,s? regards dereklcg..

Derek, I have had my magnifying glass out, it looks like Framleys, or Frankleys, Carr? Street, Birmingham.14. That's Kings Heath isn't it? You were cute then.
