George & John Kendrick - Engine Brewery

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew any information concerning George & John Kendrick. They ran the Engine Brewery on Brearly Street, and also a premises at 76 Great Hampton Street.

I think they were eventually bought out by Holts.

Kendrick’s pub was at 76 Gt Hampton Row (not street). The brewery ( red) and the pub (blue) are marked on the c 1913 map below . I would guess the other building joining the two properties was also owned by him, giving him a connection between the two.
The Engine brewery was founded in 1901 and taken over by Holte’s in 1918
