  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Not sure whether to post this on here or genealogy thread, but here goes.
Mom and dad have just got me a really interesting book for genealogy research info, called Family History on the Net by Colin Waters. It has kists of useful sites from where to look up family interests, not just BMD, but occupations, burials, law and oredr to name a few. Cover price is 7.99, but mom says they didn't pay that much. ISBN is 978 1 84674 222 4 and the publisher is countryside books.
