  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Not to do with Brum, but fascinating , even to those who are not aircraft afficionados. Gutenburg has just added Janes All the world's Aircraft 1913 to its list of downloadable books at https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/34815 . Some of the contraptions are very impractical-looking, while others are quite attractive, such as the german machine below, obviously copying the birds

Thanks Mike - just 10 years after the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight, it is amazing to see the number and variety of planes and from almost every country - Brill
