  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

WOW, what risque picture from the early 30's, ladies not only driving motor bikes, but wearing Nicker-bokkers, and Smoking in Public.paul
 
I've got these pics elsewhere on the forum so here is a link to them showing my sister on an old motorbike in 1939/40. Someone on the forum told me it could probably be a Red Panther ....

Dad and Mom did all their courting on a motorcycle and here are 2 pics of Dad and Mom with his bike and side car Tiger 100 and I can't work out the side car

Handsworth Wood Lane the photos were taken in 1939 Dad was home on leave before he went Far East
The man on the left resembles my uncle and he was a motorbike enthusiast. Do you know who he is?
I think he is an old friend of Dads called Ted Ward Just found the Photo and it is Ted Ward and the bike is an Ariel 350 and Dad is on his Triumph tiger 250 cc
