Female factory workers in Small Heath

Women & Theatre

Brummie babby
Did you have female family members working in Small Heath factories during WWI? We are starting a heritage project in Small Heath, looking at the lives of these women and gathering research which will lead to the creation of a new theatre piece. If you have family stories, photos and information to help inform our project, please come and share it with us on Saturday 24 January 2015, at Small Heath Baptist Church between 2pm-4pm. We look forward to hearing from you. Women & Theatre.

We need you! We are looking for people to help us with our research on female factory workers in Small Heath during WWI. If your grandmother, aunty or mother worked in any of the factories at that time and you have a story to tell, or if you're an amateur historian who has uncovered information about these women, we'd love to hear from you. Drop in to the Small Heath Baptist Church, (on the corner of Coventry Rd and Jenkins Rd) this Saturday 24 January any time between 2-4pm to share it with us,
