Brummie yes ! Novice no !
The 'then' pictures are taken from old postcards, the 'now' pictures taken from Google Streetview.
The older of the pictures is thought to date from the 1940's.

Wow thats a great photo Ian I went that way so many time on my way to Brum! One thing I am pleased about they never changed the name of the pub The Yenton.
 
To true Wendy. My Uncle Fred used to run a "book" in the Yenton in the l950's. The pub looks really good these days. My brother lives in Sutton Coldfield as you know and I have passed through this area so many times. I know Pom is going to recognize this shot since she worked in one of the shops near the Terminus. Was it Moyle & Adams Pom?
