Empire Safe Company

Nothing seems to turn up, Mike, in a search, except the name does feature on modern on-line web sites in Australia I think.
Although the name is used by a UK clothing company that has no connection.
The Osiris Egyptian story also cops up. The connection between Egypt and safe is the word box.

Hola carla Bienvenido.

Gracias
Por respondedor.

The reply by Carla in post 31#.

Hello
I know, it's easy, upload a photo, but it tells me that the photo is very heavy, that the server can not load it. However, I will lower the resolution to the photograph, in order to upload it.
Thank you
By responder.

regards

At last I was able to load the photograph of the safe, which I have (it was from my aunt)
I hope you can give me lights if I was really from Birmingham UK or from ALABAMA
Thank you in advance.

The crest on the safe looks as if it is that of Queen Victoria. Did Osiris hold a Royal Warrant or was it a safe for use in a British Embassy or Consulate?
