Electric Service

My Dad's trade was Automobile Electrician and he was always talking about when he worked at "The Electric Service" between the wars.
Can anybody tell me where the Electric Service was ?

Could it be one of the companies that became A T Gittings where I started work? I think they bought up other companies.

The 1937 Kellys (I haven't looked at any other year) gives two companies with names similar to this:
Electric Service Co (B'ham) Ltd; automobile electricians, 147 & 149 Conybere St
Electric Service & Repair Co; electrical engineers, 22 Digbeth
