Edwin rudge

master brummie
Hi everyone,
I wonder if someone would be able to find a EDWIN RUDGE B1864 in Wolverhampton in the 1871 census please. I have been searching all day, I am trying to find who his parents were. I have found him in the 1881 he was a shovel maker in lodgings. 1891 he was married
and was a blacksmith and he died in 1900.
I thought I would ask the experts , as I am now getting frustrated.
Thanks again

Hi Sandra

Did he marry Martha Saunders on 5th Apr 1885 at St. Peter & Paul's Aston?

If so, the IGI has his father as Thomas Rudge and Martha's as William Saunders.

Hi Ladylinda,
Thank you for your quick reply,
I will check this out, my Aunt thought they were from Wolverhampton area as Edwin was born in Wolverhampton.
But as Suzanne ( previous answer ) said the IGI has his father down as Thomas.
Fingers crossed,
Thank you both again,
