education/test centre near cannon hill

Prof

proper brummie kid
Does anyone of any memories/details of a education or medical centre near Cannon Hill in the fifies?

thanks Prof

I don't know about the 50s but there is a centre on Russell Road (I think it shares a drive with the car park for Cannon Hill) which is an education centre for children with muscle problems). Before that I remember it being called the Peto centre (again for children with muscle problems (using the techniques of the Peto Institute). That would have been in the 80s - no idea if it was used before that.
