  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Hello, I’m new here, I know there is a little info on here about almshouses, I actually live in one of the Edgbaston , Ladywood Middleway houses and love it here and find the history and old photos lovely to look at. I thought id just make a discussion specifically for these almshouses, to try to find any more information. ☺️ Thanks
 
hi and welcome to the forum hope you enjoy it as there is much to read about...glad you like living in an almshouse i have a friend who lived in one and they are quiet lovely...pretty sure we have a thread for lenches have you found it yet if not tying putting it in the search box top right of the page
