  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

In addition to Dick Barton the other sleuths of the day were Paul Temple was his theme "The Coronation Express"?. Philip O'Dell the Irish Detective and his theme tune of the "Irish washerwoman"

I remember they put these characters in a murder mystery called "The night of the 29th" I cannot recall the plot but it must have been a mismatch but it's title has stuck in my memory.
It must have been, like a lot in their day, a live broadcast for try as I can I have never found a recording of it.

Saturday mormings for me were for riding on the tram or bus to the soccer field where the school teem would be playing that day.With the laces of my soccer boots tied together and slung over my shoulder. Together with the rest of the team we would endeavour to win a championship for the school under the coaching of a keen master who was giving us his own time. Dick Barton was great but he could not possibly beat that.

Thanks, Cassie Connie Gracie. My sister was here yesterday trying to recall what Jet Morgan was in. She went through Dan Dare and The Red Planet, but missed Journey Into Space - still, she's a lot older than me by FOUR years. :idiot2:
