We most certainly did Dave!! Our run was down the "Big Hill" Upper Webster Street. I have so many scars, from falling off it, usually after the steering failed LOLLOLOL What hurt the most was pushing someone else and catching your leg on the rear board, god that hurt!!

No Dave I didn't know anybody called Kirkwood. We lived in Woodall Road, it runs between the Broadway and Norris Road, did you know any body there. I know the school catchment areas were different because Witton Road divided us didn't it.
I didn't answer your question about Mush Callaghan's son, sorry. Brian always called him Mush :D
Lucky you to live so close to Villa. I used to get my wages from the Municiple Bank at the bottom of Witton when I worked at ICI, and the Villa lads would sometimes be in there. It was one of the few time I was speechless. :D

Dave, thinking caps have been on, Mush's son was Roy. He had trials for Villa, and played a couple of times in the reserves, I'm told :!:

I remember the suits, even in those days they were a cut above the rest :D He was before your tme, but Pat Sayward was my idol. He was like a Greek God 8)

I think your piano tuner was Mr Gilbey.

Mokes! that we called 'em...
...Nah, not the Villa team - them go-kart thingies.
