  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Obituary in the Times today for the athlete Diane Leather. She was the first woman to perform a record-breaking sub five-minute mile. This was achieved at the Alexander Sports Ground in Perry Barr, Birmingham on May 29th 1954. She was wearing her Birchfield Harriers sports-kit. Diane Leather was born at Streetly on January 7th 1933 and died on September 5th 2018. It was also reported that in 1990 she was chosen by the people of Birmingham as one of their "100 Great Brummies". RIP Diane. Dave
