GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Oh so many years ago when we were very young
And you were tall and upright, beautiful and strong
I looked just once, a fleeting glance
Our meeting then was not just chance.

We have loved each other since we were very young
And now our son is tall and upright beautiful and strong
Just look at him, a passing glance
How could our meeting just be chance.

Thats a lovely snapshot of an insight Di.

As soon as I read it, it actually reminded me of a time when my eldest son was turning into a man. He had been chosen to swim for Warwickshire, and was standing tall on the blocks ready to race. I looked at him in admiration and said to my hubby 'what a fine physique our son has, I wonder where he gets it from?'

How I wish, I'd had access to you poem back then

Di.

I do believe that we all chose our partners ,and indeeed our children ,before we came to this earth.
We made a promise that we would search for each other.

My wife Ann, her family, lived across the road from me at Balsall Heath, but my family did not know them.
We were moved to Billesley and Anns family were moved to a house across the field.

There is not anything that is by chance.
