  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

hi could you find my uncles fruit shop in balsall heath he was a small man he was well known all about baslall heath and the town with his horse and cart he was known as caggie as he was left handed his wilf was jessiahe had abt 7 or 8 children regards linda
 
David Hopkins ,greengrocer was mentioned in kellys at 89 Charles Henry St for at least 1940-1950. He is not mentioned 1933 or 1956

Sorry, but that was the only reference I found in the directories of this period that I have. Doesn't mean there wasn't anywhere else though
