  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

There was a large BMC car dealers up from Dartmouth St on Aston Rd just below Pritchett St .Oppositte next to a Metal works was a top class cycle shop.Can anyone remember the name.I bought my first by cycle there in 1955.
 
i am moving this thread from the maps and mapping section to the shops section of the forum where you may get a better response
 
Not sure of the name Edifi but I think this may be the place you are refering to.

chocks2. I'm not that old.The wheel size was 27 ins :blush: :)Think he was a top cyclist that owned it.He let me have it for 5shillings a week , but I paid a bit more .
