Corner shop Handsworth

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone remembers the corner shop that used to be on the corner of Woodstock/Arthur Roads? Myself and a friend lived in the house, for 6 months, in 1981. It was pretty run down in those days and the shop was derelict inside. I've just googled it and it looks great now!
I'd love it if any one has photos or memories of the shop in it's heyday.
Thankyou!:friendly_wink:

I've now found out that it was a grocery shop, owned by some people called Parkesh up until the mid 70's-in 1913 it was listed as belonging to Theresa Newbury
