Coach and Horses The Green Castle Bromwich

There’s still a Coach and Horses pub on the Green, it seems to have been rebuilt by the time of the first image. The second photo is from 1927. Today (well Google shows it 10 years ago) it is quite different. Another rebuild ?

ive been in the now pub viv...think it could be a 30s rebuild but not certain by any means

it was once a great pub i remember going to my uncles wedding in there in the 50s the best man said now for a toast. i said i dont like toast i thought he ment toasted bread

From the Castle Bromwich link given in post #4 (thanks Pete) the Coach and Horses looking onto the Green. The current building today seems almost tucked away and much less visible behind mature shrubs. Viv

when we moved to castlebromwich 50 years ago the pub had a huge garden and deer were roaming around the back of the pub in the fields from the hall:grinning:
