  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I have just watched it on YouTube (see below). Thanks for mentioning it Richard, he certainly does still have those moves. He also did one that played during the Superbowl (Grease - 2nd search title below) .

Levi's, Ben Sherman shirts, Chelsea boots, Sta Prest trousers, Afghan coats that stank foul when wet, WW2 Warden's great coat spring to mind.

Think back to 'our' parents/grandparents and compared to today they often had little in the way of clothes, us oldies dress much better IMHO and far more casually than they did. I just can't picture my father in what I'm wearing as I type this, Crocs, track suit bottoms and polo shirt lol

Did anyone take to wearing a beret after seeing the Bonnie and Clyde film ? I did for a short while, but it was so reminiscent of school uniform, that I gave it up after a short while. Was never really much of a hat person. I also crocheted them and friends bought them off me !

From age 15 to 62 I was a keen four season camper/hill walker/bushcrafter and long John's were a winter basic for me, very effective base layer. I was given an all in one 'Union Suit', bright red with poop flap by an American friend of mine on one of his visits to the UK, sadly now stored away with the bulk of my winter camping kit :( I still wear a @1995 RAB down jacket in the winter, incredible warm.

Not too proud to pull on long johns and matching long sleeve top if beach walking in the winter keeps the draughts from my old bones!

Is there a fashion for colourful crocheted berets, I notice my next door neighbour makes and then sells in local market.
