I wonder if someone could supply any further details which might help me decide which of the following Marriages is the correct one?

John Clark/e married Elizabeth Bailey 19 April 1785 - or Elizabeth Nutt 13 April 1788,
both St Martins, Birmingham.

john clark bachelor and elizabeth bailey spinster . both of this parish. 19.4.1785 witnesses were isaac harrison and hannah jefferys

john clark bachelor and elizabeth nutt WIDOW . both of this parish . 13.4.1788 witnesses were jane whittell and john rolfe
