I purchased a small stone flagon recently.pictures attached.'The C S C.28 horse fair Birmingham.PA'S lotion.done some research with British newspapers and trade directories from Leicester university collection.one name came up .The brown lion public house which changed hands a least 13 times.it could that number 28 was more one business.and the lotion may be non alcoholic.have contacted Birmingham archives but it takes four weeks for a reply.assuming csc is a trade name.

Just seen one on a valuation site described as 'a whisky flagon'.

Correct .it just had PA'S.And not the address on it.
