Catholic Marriages

Sheriff

proper brummie kid
I am trying to unravel the mystery of my G-Grand Parents life in the 1890's and 1900's.
I have their marriage certificate for 1907 at St. Catherines. I hoping someone can tell me the regulations for getting married at a Catholic Church at that time.
They state they are over 21 and bachelor and spinster.

My questions are;

Would both parties have to be Catholic? My G-Grandmother was a visitor to St. Catherines for many years, my G-Grandfather I was not aware of his demoniation.

What would the regulations for someone under 21 getting married.

Would a proof of age certificate be required?

Would they need to show proof of Baptism?

If they had children before they married could they still marry at St. Catherine's?

Sorry for the questions but they have left me with a real mystery.

Thanks

Steve
