the nearest i can find is for a john roper (could have left out middle name) born 1905 wolverhampton
on the 1911 census living at
16 wallow lane pleck in walsall
head of house charles hunt 41 railway labourer
wife maud hunt 36
son henry bevis hunt 12..at school
john roper 6 at school and he is down as a boarder
there is a birth index for a john roper b jan quarter 1905 wolverhampton which could be the one on that 1911 census and also a death index for a john thomas roper b 7th july 1904 died dec 1972 wolverhampton...tricky one this..maybe some of our more expert members can find out more for you
That is the right marriage .The Thomas in Coseley makes sense he was always known as Tom his first born girl was called Mary and first son William..When he died he was living in Bilston,i think that comes under Wolverhampton .
