Has anyone any information on Calthorpe Motors? My Gt. Grandfather worked there according to family stories. I understand the factory was in Bordesley Green. From the limited information I have been able to find cars were made from 1904 and production finished in 1926. Thanks Gill

There was a Brian Neale I remember working at Colmore Depot in Cherrywood road.....he was the spares stores counter boss......was he also a family member ???

I use to live in cherry wood road in the 80’s im just reminiscing! I remember the corner where the GPO was I use to play in it! Opposite I think it was Norwood road or the road before

Hi,

I always wondered where Calthorpe motorcycles came from having seen a
really old and decrepit one parked in Albert Road Stechford in the 1950's.

I never saw another, and the info above has answered all the questions.
