  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

hi folks would anyone be able to find out exactly where in bordesley green the calthorpe motor works was...just found a rellie on the 1921 census who worked there...

I use to live in cherry wood road in the 80’s im just reminiscing! I remember the corner where the GPO was I use to play in it! Opposite I think it was Norwood road or the road before
 
Hi,

I always wondered where Calthorpe motorcycles came from having seen a
really old and decrepit one parked in Albert Road Stechford in the 1950's.

I never saw another, and the info above has answered all the questions.
