Buck family 43 Great Brook Street

Birmingham Pals
On the day war was declared, 4 August 191, John Buck aged 12, was watching gun carriages being moved. He was pushed against one and ended up being crushed. He was taken to hospital with severe internal injuries.
(taken from the Birmingham Daily Post 5 August 1914)

Could anyone tell me what happened to this young lad. Did he survive?

Thanks

Terry

Hi Terry,
Unfortunately I cannot find him or anyone of the name Buck on the 1911 census, there were Buck’s born in Birmingham around 1902 but no John.

The only John Buck death that I can find is 1937, born 1903. So maybe he did survive?
